Because these are needed to provide the service you ask for, they do not need your consent. The site also keeps a few settings in the browser itself (not sent to us): light/dark theme, an e-mail address you chose to remember on the sign-in form, and the text of an open chat. Visit counts on this site use no cookies at all.
