The ABB IE5 SynRM at 45kW is a larger point in ABB's magnet-free synchronous reluctance motor range (5.5-315kW, frame sizes IEC 132-315), giving IE5 ultra-premium efficiency per IEC TS 60034-30-2 without any permanent magnets or rare-earth material in the rotor.
