The Amerex B402 is a 5 lb stored-pressure multi-purpose (ABC) dry chemical fire extinguisher with a UL rating of 3-A:40-B:C. It uses a fluidized, siliconized monoammonium phosphate agent, a drawn-steel cylinder and an aluminium valve, and ships with a wall bracket. It discharges for about 14 seconds at a range of 12-18 ft and works from -65 to +120 °F. It is rechargeable by a certified service company.
